Use cases
Photos and images are the starting point, not the final boundary.
ORDIVA's long-term direction is to extend the same rights, collaboration and settlement mechanisms to design assets, digital artwork archives, video, audio and AI data services.
See how one order flowsProduct forms
One network,three product forms.
ORDIVA plans three product forms: an institutional workbench, service node access and APIs. The project website introduces the network and shows the workflow, and is separate from the formal workbench and production services.
Institutional workbench
For content records, evidence management, licensing, task initiation, review, delivery and reconciliation. Each participant sees the materials and actions for its role.
Service node access
Lets AI service providers submit capability information, take approved tasks, return results and build a service track record. Reviewers submit opinions and acceptance results through their own entry point.
API and SDK
Third-party systems can embed ORDIVA's registration, lookup, license checks, task records and delivery verification, without moving all their users to a new website.
Photos and images
Photos and images, the first line of business.
For photo agencies, licensed image libraries, content platforms and enterprise image users. Link originals, version history, source materials and use licenses, then provide search, deduplication, classification and licensed delivery.
For
- Photo agencies
- Licensed image libraries
- Content platforms
- Enterprise image users
Connects
- Originals
- Version history
- Source materials
- Use licenses
Provides
- Search
- Deduplication
- Classification
- Licensed delivery
The first phase moves forward with institutional image tasks of clear scope, validating rights, processing, acceptance and settlement within the same order.
Design assets
From file handoff,to traceable collaboration.
For design agencies and brand content teams, linking drafts, revisions, commission materials, scope of use and delivery records.
Links
- Drafts
- Revisions
- Commission materials
- Scope of use
- Delivery records
AI helps organize assets and versions, and the system records participants' processing and review. Downstream teams can check the delivered content and licenses, not just receive a zip file.
Digital artwork archives
Connecting artwork recordswith expert opinion.
Build digital archives for artworks, linking photos, scans, capture records, historical materials and expert opinions, supporting curation, version linking and archive handover.
Links
- Photos
- Scans
- Capture records
- Historical materials
- Expert opinions
Recorded separately
- Physical identity
- Attribution
- Physical custody
- Image license
The artwork use case is adapted through dedicated capture and professional services, and image similarity does not replace authentication of the physical work.
AI data services
One delivery, with licenses and processing records.
For enterprise customers and AI application teams with clear data needs, organizing deduplication, classification, tagging and dataset preparation for content cleared for use.
Each delivery binds
- Content list
- Versions
- Purpose
- License
- Processing records
Licensed separately by actual use
- Internal search
- Model training
- Public display
- Redistribution
This use case can reuse the image processing foundation. What is opened up depends on licensed materials, delivery standards and pilot needs.
Video and audio
The media type changes, the business structure stays the same.
Later, through media adaptation, records extend to clips, time ranges, audio tracks, subtitles and derivative versions.
What is recorded
- Clips
- Time ranges
- Audio tracks
- Subtitles
- Derivative versions
Shared business structure
- Clear licenses
- Traceable tasks
- Deliveries that can be accepted
- Fees that can be checked
Network participants
What each gives the network, and what each gets from it.
ORDIVA proposes an initial collaboration network of four kinds of business participants, supported by technical operations and governance roles.
- Content provider
- What it gives the networkImages, photos, design assets, source materials and the corresponding licenses
- What it gets from the networkClearer content management, licensed delivery records and agreed license income
- AI service provider
- What it gives the networkModels, agents, content processing and compute
- What it gets from the networkTask opportunities, acceptance criteria, a service track record and agreed fees
- Reviewer
- What it gives the networkReview of rights materials, task quality review and expert opinion
- What it gets from the networkClearly scoped review tasks, traceable work records and service income
- Enterprise customer
- What it gives the networkUse requirements, delivery standards and purchasing budget
- What it gets from the networkContent or service results with a clear source and license and verifiable processing
Content providers and enterprise customers
Content providers may be photo agencies, licensed image libraries, creators, design agencies or corporate content departments. Enterprise customers may be brand teams, content platforms, enterprise knowledge management teams or AI application teams.
Recorded by the actual division of work
Commercially, AI services and compute may be bundled by one organization or delivered separately by different ones. The network records contributions and fees by the actual division of work, and does not require every order to involve every role.
Infrastructure duties
Validator nodes, storage services and governance participants carry infrastructure duties. Validator nodes confirm the ledger, and running a node does not automatically qualify them to review content rights. Compute nodes execute tasks, and providing GPUs does not automatically give them rights in the input content.
One organization, several roles
One organization may hold several roles, but the specific permissions and responsibilities of each are defined separately. Reviews involving a conflict of interest can bring in independent re-review.
